I’m Kim, the hands and imagination behind Blackthorn Banshee, a sister venture to my other brand, Twist of Dark. Where Twist of Dark grew from coastal finds and gothic curiosities, Blackthorn Banshee lets me step into my other great love — the medieval, the mystical, and the weird.

I’ve always been drawn to stories of rogues, witches, and wandering souls, and that inspiration now threads through everything I make. Blackthorn Banshee is where I create handmade chainmaille jewellery, rogue’s trinkets, and fantasy-inspired pieces that feel like they’ve slipped out of a forgotten legend.

Cosplay has also become part of the heart of this brand — I want my work to not only be something you can wear every day, but also something that brings your character to life at a market, faire, or convention. Whether you’re a druid wrapped in shadows, a wandering rogue, or simply someone enchanted by the unusual, I hope you find something here that feels like it belongs to your story.
